BuzzJohn

October 30th, 2008 by Hilden

Our friends Mark and Glen over at the PSNation Podcast give us nothing but shit when it comes to our hatred of their favorite game PAIN. I realize they’re PS3 zealots over there, but even I can’t understand such blind devotion to crotch shots.

I guess the addition of a certain new character lent itself to a bit of fun at John’s expense. We’ve known for quite some time that Mark is a bit of a….scamp…when it comes to Photoshop and a good ribbing. As such, he sent over this picture of John combined with his replicant character, Buzz, from the Sony published trivia game Buzz!: Quiz TV.

Scary.

While we realize this falls squarly on the side of “too creepy”, I couldn’t help but post it up. If nothng else, you have to admire just how much John’s ugly mug…fits…on that damn character. It’s really freaking me out.

I’m just wondering what happens when he hits that button. It’s like he’s about to blow up my house in some horrible fit of quiz-bowl inspired jihad.

It’s that time again, where Halloween calls to us and we turn to scary sounds….just because. We call it…SPOOKYVISION. Despite the fact that it’s all audio.

Anyway, we’re talking about Fable II and Little Big Planet and wondering why we have to play any other games this year. We’re also grabbing a couple of items from a very slow news week and hoping that Moe’s return means we can swear again.

PS3 Review: Little Big Planet
Retro Review: Space Hawk (Intellivision)

Roadents: Season Finale

September 12th, 2008 by Hilden

So, my friends, it’s the end. We say goodbye to our friends Pee Pee and Buttercup and their zany cross-country trip to nowhere. I loved it. And not just because my brother created it but because I really got attached to those damn guinea pigs. Who knew?

Well, the final 2 part episode is out and dare I say it.. Moe could have scripted the first one. It may be the funniest damn thing the Roadents have done yet. Here’s hoping for a new season from the good folks at Sony.

Here, one final time, we present the Roadents.

Roadents-Truth or Dare

August 7th, 2008 by Hilden

Okay, so I’m pimping some family shit here but it’s good quality stuff so I don’t feel so bad. This little web show is called Roadents and it’s the creation of my brother, Justin Hilden. It’s an ongoing web series distributed by Sony Pictures and features Pee-Pee and Buttercup cruising down the highway in a motor-home and annoying each other to death.

I know. It makes me laugh too.

So, this week we find them playing a little game of truth or dare. I’m sure that’ll go well. If you dig this, then you’ll be happy to know you can find another 18+ episodes for your perusal on YouTube and the much better looking Hulu.com.

Enjoy.
