As a way of saying thank you to the very many of you who have been listening since the beginning, we’ve put out this disc of music from the first two years or so of the Team Fremont Live podcast.
We’ve had a bunch of people over the last year ask if there was any way to get certain songs that we no longer use, and I think most of them are here. I’m sorry if a favorite of yours didn’t make the list. There’s no other reason than it was lost or deleted by me. Despite that, I hope there’s something for everyone in this collection.
There are 26 tracks in total. The last five or six of those are things that I started working on in 2005-2006 but never released or never finished. Also included are some liner notes, giving some of my thoughts on the songs.
You can find the collection by clicking on the banner at the top of the RobotPanic main page.
We hope you enjoy the collection and once again, thanks for listening.
It’s a Mailbag Episode! You’ll have to excuse the audio quality this week. We’ll be back to normal on the next show.
Thanks for (still) listening!

Those of you who follow us on Twitter have probably already discovered this latest foray into self-indulgence. We’re calling them DGR Audio Shots and they are, essentially, little audio clips about whatever the hell we feel like talking about. Think about it as those little off handed comments you hear us making in the opening segments of DGR. For instance, when John and Moe were busy taking “shots” from the tree in John’s front yard, you could have heard the ensuing conversation as an Audio Shot.
Ok, maybe that isn’t such a good idea.
Anyway, we’re posting them automatically to our Twitter Feed whenever we make one. I’ll also find some new fantastic way of posting them here in the sidebar. It’ll just take a bit for me to chalk out some time in order to make the various web-magics work. Until then, I’ll post them in the main blog for you to listen to, if you so chose.
This week we talk to Chris Przybyszewski from the studio that created Thumbstruck for the iPhone/iPod Touch, Resolute Games. It’s a great conversation on just what it’s like to create games for the new, burgeoning mobile game market.
In addition we review Time Crisis and WordJong for the iPhone while John and Hilden debate which one has become the bigger soccer mom. Moe simply watches and laughs before declaring them both losers. We also manage to talk about R-Type Dimensions for the XBLA and the latest news. All this after we make our way through what may be one of our most confusing and funny reader letters of all time.
