Jeez, I feel sorry for the guy who wrote in about the poo crime he didn’t commit. Let me give yall some advice for if you ever find yourselves in such a shituation. First off, don’t flush! Why draw attention to the fact that you were in the stall? Instead, wait until there is no one else in the bathroom, run out and flush the urinal furthest from the stall. This will make it abundantly clear to later bathroom visitors that you were nowhere near the crime scene.
Nothing good can come of talking to people on the way out of a restroom; avoid eye contact and maintain a brisk pace. Finally, if anyone later asks you if you witnessed the horror, just remember: you didn’t see shit.

I hate myself for saying this, but the latest Battleship trailer(which I saw before Sherlock Holmes 2) actually looked… almost… ish… maybe…. okay… for a summer movie.
It has Liam Neeson in it, which is good. And boats with guns on them. And explosions. And aircraft carriers, which per Michael Bay, is necessary for any summer movie.

I picked up Heroica, and impulse-purchased an additional $60 worth of Legos at Target this evening. The base game could use some more meat, but I really like the idea of adding some crazy house rules. Works great as a D&D ultra-light game to get some of my friend’s feet wet.
Now that I’ve caught the Lego bug, I think it’s time to locate my original collection from my childhood.

Aw hey, that’s just not fair! You bitches made me want to buy fucking Lego again! I’m 38 years old! That’s more good shit you made me want to fucking buy! I’ve got enough on my plate!
Another superb show, and belated thanks for your end of the year music picks. Ive been buying some the albums you chaps mentioned, so thanks for the heads up. And with Bon Ivert, M83 and the Beasties, I’m feeling the neo 80′s vibe. They’re all lovely.
Great stuff lads,

Another stand-out show boys! It’s hard to think of the great shit we missed out on while you were trying to keep it an all-gaming pod. Legos will always have a place in my heart, especially the sets like the motorcycle dealership…I was doing freestyle motocross jumps with those things before it was even a sport! Mind you it was off the top of the dealership and my friend’s medieval castle, but those were some fucking KILLER trick combos I was getting.
I do have to say I’ll miss the random retro review…especially Moe’s “well, the label is very colorful…”

@Tex: I had that motorcycle shop, too! And I loved the shit out of that set. So many good memories from those stupid little blocks.

You guys speak my language. LEGOS and beer!!! I was smiling my entire drive home; I will have to pick up Heroica. Something that my buddies and I can do, we use to play Gunslinger (strategy hex game) but would drag out at times. Heroica would be a great addition to our geekdom.
If anyone wants to breathd some life into your old lego characters, check out BrickArms. They make weapons and head gear kits for legos. Interesting stuff.
