Summer Film Fest: Breathless / Jules & Jim

The Summer Film Festival makes it’s grand return with a French New Wave spectacular: Jean-Luc Godard’s classic Breathless and Francois Truffaut’s Jules & Jim. We’ll be doing something a little different for these last few episodes. We want to incorporate user feedback as much as possible. To do so, I’m posting the discussion thread now, and we will read your feedback on the show, which will be out early next week. So without further adieu, let’s discuss!

I’ve been waiting for ages to talk about Jules and Jim and how much I absolutely DESPISED the characters in this flick. From the evil skank to the two dickless pansy-asses who fell in love with her. I sat there watching the movie thinking, “SEE?! THIS is why people hate the French!” That chick must have had a vag of gold that made them see rainbows and unicorns every time they blew their load because any rational man with a fucking backbone would have kicked that wretched whore to the curb immediately; or at least from the moment she jumped into the river. They should’ve let the bitch drown.
Breathless was alright. What was with the dude touching his lips all the time?
I’m out!

My drunken rant must’ve been so awe-inspiring that you’re all too intimidated to comment.
