I must have played Mario Galaxy wrong. Everyone is ranting about how good they both are. I think I’ll try to recruit a star bitch and give it another try.
The plug for Fluffy’s twitter was pretty damn funny.

I would like to point out to Moe that Rare has made 2 shooters. Captain Skyhawk and Solar Jetman.
And the mudshark thing was from a tour stop in Seattle. The band was staying at a hotel that overlooked the ocean and for a few bucks you could rent fishing poles and fish right out of your window. One of the roadies was doing this and caught a mudshark. The roadie then found a groupie and spanked her with it.

I also forgot to be shocked that only John knows of KMFDM.
- The music video for A Drug Against War. If you don’t remember this then you really haven’t heard KMFDM.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwhOTNQcQq4 – that is a personal favorite. I love the art style they use on most of their albums and, of course, in A Drug Against War.

Great show, and thanks for your opinions on Soldner X-2. I played through it and enjoyed it, but I didn’t find it too difficult yet (and I generally suck at shmups). Supposedly, it is supposed to have some kind of adaptive AI, but maybe it won’t trigger until I play it again? Either way, it was worth the cash, and now I’ve got a pretty good HD shmup to play!

A few notes after listening to this latest episode:
1) Stop hitting on my wife. Or KEEP doing it, because it’s kinda hot.
2) Hilden, the Mario Galaxy 2 60 second control thing was from an article I wrote. I’m flattered you thought it was Tycho. I’m also very, very angry. But mostly flattered.
3) Watching John wrap his mouth around a hookah and then make uncomfortable eye contact with me explained the #suckitandrich phenomenon. It’s kind of like hoping if the children in the audience clap loud enough, a wish will come true.

@Shawn Don’t look now, but I think I love you. Ok, look now. Sultryry-like. That’s it. Yeah…

Hey Moe, you mentioned that you had the EVIL balaclava for Fluffy, I’m guessing it’s like this one.
Yep, that’s me, risking a terrorism charge and an uncomfortable night being probed by a New York cop just to win a free copy of a boardgame.
I did a sister picture as well

Ah, figures I would be quoting you, Shawn. My apologies for the error. The article Shawn is talking about can be found here.

I’m listening to the show in parts so … yeah..
I’d follow Fluffy in Twitter if Twitter didn’t fucking suck. Half the time I can’t load up Twitter and 99.9% of the time I can’t tweet.

I was looking for some zombie dice videos on YouTube and found this… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjy3n-Fms8k Zombie Mosh. The guy in the video isn’t very impressed with the game but it sounds fun to me.
June 4th, 2010 at 11:35 pm
Oh, I forgot to add that this zombie thing is getting out of hand. Even Microsoft even has a Windows 7 commercial where it shows the famous shark vs zombie scene.

@ELewis17
You’re not alone dude. Mario Galaxy(s) are a waste of time. Creative level design is wasted if everything is such a pushover.
KMFDM is pretty sweet. Megalomanic is a classic.
June 8th, 2010 at 12:24 pm
Wow. I guess I’ve always found SMG to be a pretty decent challenge. Not mind blowingly difficult, but certainly not a pushover. Especially some of those later star missions.
June 8th, 2010 at 2:18 pm
I’m pretty sure we had this exact same debate over the first SMG. Fuck it. The game’s fun and brilliantly designed. Just because DJ’s some kind of savant doesn’t change that. And, once again, it all boils down to what kind of gamer you are. I play games to relax and escape, and SMG2 fills that need just fine while providing just the right amount of challenge. For me.
