Great episode, guys. The time just flew by. Btw, I am playing “We Rule”, so feel free to friend me in-game.
I agree, btw, that it’s great because you don’t have to have the FarmVille level of OCD-commitment to enjoy it.
I play about 5-7 minutes a night right now, never even *spend* mojo (let alone buying it, which will never happen), and am having fun.
Also, clarification of my email: I have a wife who is completely unaccustomed to the idea of online handles, so when I talk about all of you people she sort of rolls her eyes at me. She’s old school: she uses peoples’ proper first and last names. What’s up with that?

I didn’t see any type of “preorder button” for the posters on the Store page as described in the podcast. Am I doing it wrong?

Nope. They’re not up yet. Hilden and I have been working on it today and they should be up and ready to order by the end of the day.

Hilden – did you check out Amplitude? I liked it more then Frequency myself even if some of the tracks were a little more mainstream.
XIII was also another under rated PS2 game – I’m still hoping one day Ubisoft wake up and release a sequel. It was a really stylish FPS and to this day I haven’t seen anything else like it.

Love the “get a life” segment…you should put some music under it and make it a regular segment.
April 29th, 2010 at 11:14 am
@awesomo: yeah, I own both of them and like them both a ton. I tried to smash both of them into one talking segment on the show but it came off like I was talking about Frequency only. I really feel like they’re almost the same game with more polish on Amplitude.

thanks for reading out my iPad letter guys, still waiting to preorder here in the UK though

@Hilden – definitely agree. Was kind of hoping they used that magic for Rock Band on PSP but I got turned off by the fact they only gave you five songs then you had to buy the rest through the PS Store. Then they stopped putting out DLC for it.

There are no “iPad haters” out there. Just people who already own a laptop/netbook and a smart phone.

I registered just so I could say: I bought Drakken for $4 at a flea market when I was young. And I wanted my $4 back.

I keep listening to the mention of that Scottish podcast and I just can’t get the name down and after many attempts at trying to find it, I keep failing. Does anyone have a link for it?

I’d also really like to get a link to that scottish podcast. It was something like “down to for it x” on vegevo. A link to either of those would be awesome.

I kind of butchered the name on this episode. Sorry guys.
It’s called The DownToForitX podcast.
