My Monday is made better by Moe’s sacrifice. Even if I can’t be drunk this morning, I can listen to Moe taking a hit for the team.

Entertaining episode. I enjoyed listening to belligerent Moe.

I have no recollection whatsoever of that voicemail. What makes this more disconcerting is my phone says I made that call at like 2 in the afternoon.
And Moe, I will continue to use belay. And I’m bringing ahoy back. Yeah.

Moe, that was fantastic, you’re a bit of an angry drunk aren’t you, keep it up

Other than being wrong about Forza…still, it was a good episode. Moe really didn’t seem all that drunk to me. Just a little cranky, maybe. Who was going off on Chobot the other week? Was that Hilden? Now, that’s what I expect drunk to sound like.

Fine work guys – gotta love Moe when he’s drunk.
Left 4 Dead 2 sucks in Australia – check it out for yourselves:

We’re hoping the 360 version will be region free like the original one

Great show guys, as always.
Would it be possible for you to add all the websites you ran through to the post? It’s either that, or I have to scan back through the show to find them…and I’m lazy… Many of them sounded really interesting, especially Jeremy Parish’s not-so-1up site.

Hmmm, I think there is evidence to Moe’s theory on the Pope… here.
November 10th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
@Zinswin, the Pope is a former member of the Nazi party,
November 10th, 2009 at 2:10 pm
The Pope was a former Hilter Youth. Every kid in Germany back then was a member of the Hilter Youth.

And I think on the next podcast you guys should combine the reviews of Excitebike and the Jaguar dirt bike game for a head-to-head review.

I’m not sure how this conversation branched off to Nazi Popes, but I wholeheartedly approve.
Anyone else want to play Jaguar joke bingo for next week’s show?

To the guy who wrote in about Forza 3, I have to highlight this little tidbit from your letter: “Should a developer have to work around the limitations of a console?”
Yes.
YES.
YEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
That is EXACTLY what they should have to do! In fact, that is their JOB! If they modeled every car in existence then released the game on a 12-disc box set, that would be a poor choice. It is a developer’s job to make a great game using the tools and limitations given to them.

So nerds are so cranky that they bristle at paying a few extra dollars for more of a game they like (hello l4d dlc nerd outrage) and will even complain when you give them more of a game they like FOR FREE.
Let’s just agree to disagree and have a beer.
November 13th, 2009 at 6:36 am
@carrotpanic, you could give nerds $20 in a box and charge them $10, they would still complain
November 13th, 2009 at 4:26 pm
@carrotpanic & fluffy_nuts, are you seriously trying to charge me $10 for a $1.29 box, when you could just hand me the 20 for free?
Also, after finishing the podcast I need to redact my Forza 3 statement. John is right about the game.
Hilden is still wrong, though.
