Holy lord…could we have been any more drunk and rambling during the “What We’re Playing” segment?
I stick by my Pain comment though.
Oh, and we never got around to telling that story!

Yeah, we kind of lost it at the end. I’m just surprised it took that long. After two growlers of beer and then some, we did fairly well.

I thought this movie was very good. Just one thing bugged me about it: Kirk got his ass beat a lot in the movie.

Hilden sorry your wife didn’t win the karaoke contest. As a local KJ who helped run some of the preliminary rounds I can tell you that contest was run very poorly. I mean, who does a contest where winners are chosen by the popular vote in attendence and not by professional judges…Oh wait Idol does that…
Great show as always!

I’m still waiting for the Buzz character to be released for PAIN so I can fling John’s crotch against various dangerous objects repeatedly. Only then will I buy all the addon shit for this lovely game.

I have some very bad memories about Viper Phase One.
I hit up a Armed Police Batrider machine last weekend. Now thats SHMUP done right ladies and gentlemen.

@Mike: I’m scared that you’re thinking of my crotch. Time for a restraining order.

I have a 360 and ps3 and don’t have any pinball games for either. Zen Pinball is your recommendation, right?
May 20th, 2009 at 10:14 am
@carrotpanic: yeah. Go with Zen.
@KoFFer: Where did you find a Batrider cab? I’d kill to play one of those.

@Hilden I stumbled upon it in a little arcade in denmark.

I think we can safely say that DJI is the true “Science Papa/”

@John: I only said that because I know how much you dislike PAIN

RE: Stalagmites vs tites
Tights come down
That’s all you need to remember
May 21st, 2009 at 8:54 am
Again, since John thinks they both end in “tite”, that doesn’t help him.
This will never die!

You know, I would say, “I think I’ve got it” but I’m having too much fun with this. Seriously, we have about a dozen emails sitting in the mailbag regarding stalactites and stalagmites. Hilarious.

Just remember Sta-Lag-(has)-mites.

I’m with Moe on the input lag in Pinball FX and it’s there in Zen Pinball as well. It’s subtle, but annoying… especially when you are trying yo time the upper bumpers to a mach 10 ball.
Still, both games are awesome… It’s not that different to getting used to the indosyncracies of a table at your local bar.

I have fallen behind and are just now listening and I have to say “Wrecking Delays”? Really? How can you wreck a delay? By saying a game is going to come out and then days later announce the game will be out a month earlier?
May 24th, 2009 at 10:05 pm
I should add that all my different names have been in good fun.
