Drunken Gamers Radio: 05.10.2009

The three of us were out of town to attend a good friend’s wedding. That, along with Mother’s Day, it made it a bit difficult to sit down and record an episode. So this week, we bring you the Mailbag Episode. About a month or so back, we cleaned out the mailbag of letters that had been sitting around for awhile. Well, here they are after all this time. Enjoy. Regular episodes will resume next week. Thanks for listening!

About a month (cough, two going on three) or so back…
I keed, I keed.
Good to see you guys cleaning out the closet and getting a much deserved break.
And darn those kids for cutting into gaming time! Who do they think they are, what the the feeding and clothing needs they have. Next they’ll be looking for a bed with actual blankets or dare I say, a hug.

I really did think that this episode was going to be lost for all time.
Hope you had fun at the wedding and got so drunk that you did the robot.

Just wanted to mention to you guys.
You can play Phantasy Star Portable online.
If you have a PS3, you can get Adhoc Party from the Japanese store and play it that way. It’s actually pretty easy to grab and use.

If you don’t have a PS3, you can always use Xlink Kai which is a little bit more of a pain to set up, but works really well.

You can get your online enjoyment out of Phantasy Star Portable!

Damn, I forgot how much fun it was recording that episode. I could do one of those every week.

I didn’t remember much of it. It was a nice change of pace from the usual.

Oh damn, I just realized I haven’t played Chromehounds in forever. I need to turn on my Xbox more.

I enjoy how the episode is double-dated: once because the letters were old (at the time) and once because the episode is old (since it was recorded months ago).
And yes, I’m all up on Carnivale Showtime on XBLA. Great game. Very high production values and a great, but simple, platform mechanic. 5 bucks. Get it.

I’m going to write 7 emails now.
