Shmopera: Act I
So, the Shmopera is on the latest episode of Drunken Gamers Radio, but due to the limits of podcasting bandwidth and the fact that the show was so damn big, the first act was presented in Mono. Which, in my mind, equals “sounds like shit” when it comes to all things music related.
So, for those that really care, here is the first act of the Shmopera in Stereo, as it was meant to be heard. Enjoy.

After all these server issues blow over (assuming they ever do, PowWeb being PowWeb), will the original Shmopera be posted in stereo as well?

Yes. Here’s the deal:
I’ve got a bunch of tracks that include the original Shmopera and a bunch of old TF era tracks from the past. In addition, there are two tracks that I’ve had done forever but just never put out for anyone to listen to. The idea is to do it Heliosphere style and offer up the complete set for download. If you feel the music is worthy of a donation, we would greatly appreciate it. If you feel it sucks and you would never pay anything for that shit, we completely understand. Just know you’re bastards.
I kid. I kid.
The reason for the delay is that I’m an idiot and deleted the I’m the Captain raw files so I’ve been trying to clean up the old track as best I can. In addition, I’ve gone back and tried to remaster some of the old GarageBand era tunes like Boric’s Song and Where’s My Fucking Cookie so that they all sound as best they can.

I don’t know if anyone else caught it, but when Moe threw in the word “lubricate!” in the background of the last song, I lost my shit. I didn’t even catch it at the time but when I was editing, I heard it.
Funny how that’s always the way with Moe. I never catch, until much later, how funny that bastard is.

I can’t help but picture a really gay (but really AWESOME) giant dance number during the first song. It’s so awesome, it might TURN me gay – the true mark of excellence.
