Once again, great show, and a fantastic Shmuppreciation month. It was a blast revisiting shmups and trying out the wonderful SCIENCE from DJI. Sadly, Shmups hate me as I have failed EPICLY on all of the monthly challenges. Perhaps Frantic will provide some small amount of glory, but regardless it was FUN!
@Hilden, congrats on your daughter picking up the controller and diving into the world we love so much, that is cool as hell. However, be warned, after a few years of teaching from yourself that there will come a day when she will KICK YOUR ASS at every new game that comes out.

I fully support the idea of a new TFL CD, and I’d be glad to support it with a donation– but that album title may be too long to remember.

That would be the greatest album title of all time!

Just finished making a mock-up for the album cover: link.

Shit, man. I can’t stop laughing at that. Soup for the Harvest! That cracks my shit up. I love it so much I’m seriously thinking we should use that image and title!

I just want to point out that the Shmopera is already in mp3 form. You just have to skip past a lot of chatter between songs.

The Spacebot is me.
On the way to work this morning I felt like I was at a Pink Floyd concert. Awesome works guys…now when can we see the Shmopera performed live? PAX 2010? MWGC 2010?

You guys need to make “Nintendo Bitchin’ Bandwagon” a weekly segment. Look, I love Nintendo. I cut my wee gamer teeth on their consoles. They made me the hardcore motherfucker I am today but… gawddammit. They do some of the most assinine shit ever. If they get to make fucktons of money after all is said and done then they can stand to have a little rage tossed back in their face on appointment. Seriously, there’s a vein bulging in my neck that won’t go away. I’ve named it “Reggie”.
