Fight Club
Hey, see my Gamertag/ Robot Panic name?
If you have seen this movie, then you will understand why I love it. Everything about this movie is there to mind fuck you. This movie blew my mind in high school and it still leaves an impression. So here is the scene that officially BLOWS YOUR MIND!
Hard Boiled
John Woo before he made Paycheck. John Woo before he came to America. Chow Yun Fat before he became a fucking pirate. Hard Boiled before it became Stranglehold.
I present to you the beginning of Hard Boiled…in chinese!!!
Dark Knight
In a movie that actually could convince people that Batman could really exist, the Joker makes his appearance. In a scene so astoundingly convincing that a guy who once played a knight that had We Will Rock You by Queen playing in it, Heath Ledger steals the fucking show from his first HA HA.
This scene involves graphic pencil violence.
The Good The Bad and the Ugly
Clint Eastwood is bad ass. Even at the age of 78, he could still kick some ass. In this ending to the classic The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, he proves that. With a gun. And a weird little cigarette thing. And a shawl. All coming together to form an awesomely beautifully shot sequence.
BAD. FUCKING. ASS.
Se7en
I wasn’t sure which scene from this movie to add, so here are 2. One is the sin of sloth. One is the ending. Both are incredible. One is so scary that I think I peed myself and the other is so insane that I think I peed myself. The PLAY button awaits.
American History X
How can a movie so rife with racism and violence be so beautiful? The overall message of this movie is fantastic, but you kind of have to understand what you are getting into. The KKK, Nazis and other various hate mongering groups all get represented in this movie. But in the end….it comes full circle and repeats. Kind of a bummer.
The ending is so heartbreaking that it…breaks…the….heart. (insert cry-y face here)
The Departed
(And insert a second cry-y face here)
Leonardo DiCaprio is a great actor. Yeah, wanna fight about it? Just when Leo’s character finally gets his man, he gets shot in the head, by the guy from 24 who gets shot by the guy from the Bourne Identity but not before he shoots Anthony Anderson who was in……movies.
It’s SO not understandable how Scorsese didnt’t get an Oscar before he made this film, but it is SO understandable how he got it for this one. Way better than Goodfellas and Casino. SO much better than Gangs of New York and Taxi Driver. I give you, Martin Scorsese’s greatest film!!
Well, the ending at least. And the very last scene, because the bad guy JUST CANNOT get away!
Pulp Fiction
Poor Marvin. How little we knew thee. And on that note, poor John Travolta, how little you make good movies. But it all came together in this movie. Pulp Fiction is widely regarded as GREAT and AWESOME and REALLY REALLY GOOD and TUBULAR!
Well, this scene is my fav. Because it is funny.
Full Metal Jacket
Holy freaky actor, Batman!
Vincent D’Onofrio is fre-e-e-e-a-a-a-ky!
This scene is chilling. How can one actor get like this? Incredibly haunting. This is the best scene from Full Metal Jacket. And it had so many!
TO BE CONCLUDED!
