I was at my local Blockbuster and they had two versions of the Flip Video (not Ultra) available. One with 60 mins of video for $49.99, and one with 30 mins for $39.99. Didn’t see John’s Ultra there at all, and they didn’t have them on the clearance table either. They were on the back wall behind the counter. So you could essentially get away with one of these for only 40 bones, but it’s a no-brainer to spring for the extra $10 and get 30 mins more of video. I shelled out for the 60 min version. Seems a bit wider than the ultra, but it’s still a small machine. Tested a bit in low light and it worked pretty well. I have to give it a full test in brighter light situations, but so far it’s not bad for the price.

Also of note:
There is an even newer Flip camera out, but it doesn’t stack up to the Ultra, apparently. I have an Ultra and I love it. Great little tool to have.

There’s nothing at the crappy one in that shopping center at 66th and Nicollet, in case anyone’s curious. I’ll likely be down in Burnsville this weekend, so I’ll check it out then.

I believe Hilden’s is over in Roseville. Moe and mine is in Burnsville on Cty Rd 42 and Cty Rd 5.
